Out of my head on the topic of outdoor fire pits
At the higher end of the price scale you can find outdoor propane fueled gas fire pits or fire pits with attached granite tabletops. It stands to reason that there are safety precautions to be aware of when using your copper fire pit. Naturally, you should keep your fire pit safely away from the outside walls of any structure. It may also not be a good idea to set your fire pit up on a wooden deck, regardless of the distance between it and your home or yard structure; the best flooring for a fire pit of any type is one made with metal, tile or cement or other fireproof material. The pit should also sit away from overhangs; in short, keep it away from any potentially flammable material.
