It always involved a whirlwind team of people at our house who packed things right from under your nose. It always felt like I had no control of what was happening, in spite of that fact that it was my stuff and my house. We usually spent a couple weeks slowly packing up the things we did not want the movers packing. The more we packed, the more unrecognizable the rooms would become and we could barely move around all the stacks of boxes. As we had no room to move during our weeks of packing, we longed for a one room to just stack all the boxes where they would be out of the way.
