Buyers are beginning to realize that, in reality, they are doing part of the brokers work by locating their homes themselves and believe they have earned a rebate on the real estate commission. As is the case with flat fee services, there are some brokers who are reluctant to work with buyers without agents to show the homes. Others will argue that, when real estate markets turn cold, properties should be made available to all potential buyers regardless of whether a broker is involved. Buyers and sellers alike are more Internet savvy now and more frequently require brokers only for negotiations, contract preparation and other real estate related intricacies of the deal.
